The Archaeology Society aims to provide students with the opportunity to visit places of archaeological and historical interest. Alongside this we hold weekly socials involving many activities to give archaeologists an opportunity to mix and integrate outside of academic affairs. We organise an annual trip abroad during the easter vacation and run end of term parties in the autumn and summer terms for the Archaeology department at Kings Manor. We also offer outreach opportunities for work experience, volunteering and field schools to advance our members professionally. We work with the department as ambassadors for members and to incoming students.
