Look thee, thou disheartened friend,
Does the darkness you see appear without end,
Dost thou shout and rage and fight,
At the coming of the night.

Fear not, thou unhappy fool
For we have come, we are arriv'd
And we are here to save you all.

We happy few, we band of brothers,
We are the poets, we outshine all others,
Dost thou need us, dost thou care,
Then for thee, we are there,
So join us now, join our house,
Thou, vile, disgusting, unkempt louse.
