Student nights offer cheaper entry, drinks deals and are usually restricted to just the university. Therefore it is important to bring your university ID as well as your other photograph ID (such as driving license or passport, although you are usually not asked to show this).

Last year was one of the most popular for YUSU’s official Club Nights after a huge shakeup in the summer. This year we have based the new lineup on the success of last year and on your feedback that was collected in the Summer Term to make sure we are providing you with the best nights possible.

Tuesday

The introduction of the brand new Kuda sees the former Gallery back on the forefront of York’s nightlife after a refurbishment involving a million pound re-fit. Poised to be one of the best nightclubs in Yorkshire, our students would be missing out if we were to pass up this fantastic opportunity.

Thursday

Thursday night Tokyo is a welcome main-stay for our student nights. Last year, their variation of events and use of the venue, combined with a very much ‘in touch’ promotions team and staff resulted in a successful year. We’re in no doubt that Tokyo will further cement Thursday nights as a fun, innovative and busy night out.

Sunday

Vodka Revolutions: Not only does it have a vodka bar, a Cuban Rum bar, a dance floor overlooking the river and great music, Vodka Revs is one of the trendiest places in York. Sunday nights here are an absolute must!

Clubbers’ Bus

This year, for £1.50, you can return home from your night out at 2.00am, 2.45am or 3.45am. Each of the three clubs will continue to support this service to help us make sure our students get home safely.
