Goodricke’s Social Officers run several Trips each term to cities in the UK and Abroad. Nights out to Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle are frequent and always very popular. These usually involve starting off with a bit of free punch in the JCR, a couple of cans and chants on the coach followed by a great night out in a huge venue at one of the UK’s biggest cities. These trips are dirt cheap at usually less than a tenner. More money to spend on drinks!

Trips abroad have been organised to Amsterdam and Prague, giving Goodricke students an opportunity to explore the delights of a foreign city while fitting in with your busy university schedule.

Newcastle

In week 6 of term 2, after starting out with a party in our Junior Common Room, a coach full of Goodricke students set off for Geordie Shore. With themed bars and nightclubs in the local vicinity it will be an awesome Thursday night, away from the bores of work and a chance to see a new city!

Amsterdam

Last week of term, 15th-18th March, Goodricke and Langwith hit Holland hard! We will be travelling with www.outgoing.co.uk so the trip will be just amazing. Accommodation, transport, bar crawls and free drinks will be included with the package. If you want to let some (a lot) of steam go to www.outgoing.co.uk and type in the search word ‘gooddam’, tickets are £125, but you only need to pay the deposit of £40 to secure your place.
