Here are last terms regular events which we ran along with the College Block Tutors.

Tuesday

Jon’s Astronomy Club

Our Deputy Provost, Jon Fanning runs an Astronomy club on Tuesday evenings during the Spring Term. Members meet in the Lakeside room, Ron Cooke Hub, at 7pm. Please come along and have a look at the stars.

Wednesday

Wednesday Night is Movie Night!

The College Welfare Team will be holding movie nights in the JCR on most Wednesdays during term. Please see the posters around the College for more details. Don’t forget to bring some popcorn!

Toasties in the GCR

Free toasties are available to residents every Wednesday night (10:30pm – 3am) in the GCR, supplied by the Goodricke College Christian Union.

Thursday

Steve’s Classic Game Night

Thursday evenings are Classic Games Nights in the GCR from 8pm with our Tutor, Steve. We have a selection of games, including giant Jenga, Connect 4, Monopoly, Chess, Draughts, Dominion and many more. So if you are looking for some like-minded people to hone your economics skills with at a Monopoly board or you want to learn the rules of a new game (or even bring along a game of your own and try find some players), then join Steve in the GCR from 8pm. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

Saturday

Cult Movie Night

The College Welfare team show two cult classics in the GCR every week staring from 8pm. Come along for some free snacks, drinks, and some pizza and enjoy the films we have to offer.
