At Goodricke, we have some of the best facilities on campus!

The “Nucleus” is a building in the middle of the college that is home to a range of social spaces and other facilities.

The Graduate Common Room – GCR

This is a common room equipped with:
• Sofas
• Tables
• Work space
• Computers
• A printer
• Piano
• Board Games
• Large flat screen
• Freesat
• Video and DVD Player
• Projector screen (links up with the TV and games consoles)
• Xbox
• Wii

All of these are free to use 24/7 and controllers and a selection of games for the Xbox & Wii can be loaned from the Porters. A wide range of DVDs can be loaned from your JCRC too!

The Junior Common Room – JCR

This is a common room equipped with:
• Sofas
• Tables
• Pool Table
• Large Flatscreen TV with Sky
• Projector screen
• PS3
• Wii

All of these are free to use 24/7 and controllers and a selection of games for the PS3 & Wii can be loaned from the Porters.

Laundry Room

Also in the Nucleus is the Laundry room. This features large washers and dryers that can be used 24/7 for a small charge.
There is a drinks and snacks vending machine in there too along with a lost property box for all those odd socks!

The laundry room is linked up to the internet so you can check whether there are washers/dryer free from your room and you can also check how long your load has left!
