Welfare

Welfare of our college members is important to your JCRC. A dedicated team exists under the leadership of Vice Chair for Welfare. The representatives that make up the team are:

• Male & Female Welfare
• Disabilities
• LGBT
• International

The Welfare Team works in close conjunction with the broader College Welfare and Support Team including the Provost, Dean, College Tutors, Court Tutors and the porters. We also work with, among others:

• YUSU Welfare
• YUSU Advice & Support Centre
• YUSU International Students’ Association
• Graduate Students Association
• Academic Support Office
• Student Support Services
• Careers Service

Welfare runs several events and initiatives throughout the academic terms and year designed to enable you have an excellent experience at Goodricke College and the University of York – we are here to serve you.
